7 Reasons why your kids need enough sleep

Why must my toddler and children sleep an average of 10 hours a night?

  1. Releasing important hormones for growth and development. Thus less sleep=less growth!

  2. Helping the heart.

  3. Controlling weight gain.

  4. Beating germs.

  5. Reducing injury risk

  6. Increasing kids’ attention span.

  7. Boosting learning.

  8. Refilling of the brain’s storage of neurotransmitters = essential for brain cells to communicate.

  9. Increasing blood supply to the muscles.
